Meet Our Student Support Team
The counselors, and support staff at Hoosier College and Career Academy (HCCA) are passionate about helping students succeed.
Christina Ingram | Community Engagement Specialist
Christina Ingram has served as community engagement specialist since 2016. She has a master's degree in education and a teaching degree in English and journalism, grades 5–12. She also has 20 plus years teaching experience and two years experience as an academic advisor.

Megan Mullins | Dropout Prevention Specialist
Mrs. Mullins has been with Hoosier Academy since 2016, and has a Master's Degree in Education. She has worked in education for 15 years both in and outside the classroom.
Fun fact: I am a certified scuba instructor as well, and a Girl Scout troop leader

Brooke Corley | Student Counselor
Brooke is in her first full year as a school counselor at HCCA, joining the team in March 2023. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Indiana University and a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of Saint Francis. She has worked in higher education for over 15 years as an advisor and admissions counselor.
FUN FACTS: Brooke has been married for 16 years and has 3 daughters. She loves seafood, Taco Tuesdays, and ice cream. Brooke has a knack for music trivia and hopes to one day be a contestant on a game show.

Carly Crist | Student Counselor
Carley is a first year school counselor at HCCA. She has a bachelors degree in Psychology from IUPUI and a masters in school counseling/ counseling education. She has 6 years of experience working with youth one on one, teaching social emotional skills and developing different after school programs around Indianapolis.
Fun Fact: I am an avid weight lifter who is aspiring to be a bodybuilder.

Kristen Giles | Student Counselor
Kristin has a bachelors degree in Psychology from DePauw University and a master’s in Education – Counseling from Butler University. She is a licensed school counselor and hold an associate mental health license as well. She has been a stay at home mom for the last three years but before that she was a school counselor at a brick and mortar school for five years. Kristin has a husband and an almost 3 year old daughter, Joey, a one year old son, Race, and a 12 year old Pomeranian named Jaxon. In her free time, she loves to work out and cycle, and do home remodeling projects.

Amy Oliger | Student Counselor
Amy Oliger was born and raised in Marion, Indiana and moved to Hagerstown, Indiana in 2000. She has a Bachelor’s in Social Studies Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She earned her Master’s in Education from Olivet Nazarene University before taking classes to become a licensed CTE:Business teacher from Ball State University. She then decided that School Counseling was where she ultimately wanted to be to reach students so she earned her Master’s in School Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has been a teacher, coach, and school counselor and is starting her 23 year in education.
Fun Facts: “I live on a farm with my husband Chris and our four daughters. My oldest two daughters are students at Purdue University studying Agribusiness Management, my third daughter is a senior in high school and my youngest is a seventh grader. We raise and show Brown Swiss dairy cows and Horned Dorset sheep. I have three long-haired miniature dachshunds, a West-Highland White terrier and 2 Doberman Pinschers (which I breed).”

Sabrina Scroggin | SEL Coordinator
Sabrina Scroggin is the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Coordinator at HCCA. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Science Education and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Purdue University. She has worked as a FACS teacher, a Natural Helpers sponsor, a therapist, an internship director, a director of student learning and development for international students, and a graduation coach.
Fun fact: I am continually learning how to do home improvement projects. My most recent project is tiling floors and walls.
